A New Student at Ghoul School!

A year before the arrival of the timid teacher from A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!, Hyakki Academy is already struggling to contain its students' energy. New arrivals Mamekichi Maizuka, a mame-danuki, and Tamao Akisame, a nekomata, are particularly skilled at turning school life into a series of noisy complications. This companion comedy shifts attention to the young youkai as they settle into a school that gathers supernatural creatures from across Japan. Lessons, friendships and first impressions become opportunities for mischief. Familiar surroundings take on a different character when the students, rather than the unfortunate adults responsible for them, lead the story.
