A Playthrough of a Certain Dude's VRMMO Life

Tanaka Daichi is a thirty-eight-year-old office worker who loves games. In the new virtual-reality game One More Free Life Online, he plays as Earth, and deliberately picks skills most players dismiss as useless: brewing potions, cooking pointlessly delicious meals, crafting odd weapons and hunting with a bow. While others race up the rankings, Earth simply enjoys the world. Yet his relaxed approach keeps producing surprising results: unexpected discoveries, unusual friendships, creatures that take a liking to him and a reputation he never asked for. The more he plays at his own pace, the more the game seems to reward him for it. Based on Howahowa Shiina's novels and drawn by Syuya Rikudou, the manga is a calm, comfortable adventure about playing for its own sake. It is ideal for readers who prefer crafting, cooking and exploration to constant battles, and who like a hero old enough to know what he enjoys.
