Synopsis
Before she became one of Night Raid's most feared fighters, Akame served the very Empire she would later oppose. Raised to work as an assassin, she is taught that eliminating the Empire's enemies will bring peace to its people. Life among other young operatives gives that mission an immediate, personal meaning: these are the companions she trains with and depends on. This prequel follows the experiences that begin to undermine those lessons. Dangerous assignments and encounters beyond the training ground expose a widening gap between official promises and the lives affected by them, turning Akame's early career into a story about obedience, friendship and the first difficult doubts.
