Black Butler

Ciel Phantomhive is the young head of a powerful household in Victorian England, balancing business, aristocratic obligations and service to the queen. At his side stands Sebastian Michaelis, a butler whose flawless manners conceal abilities no ordinary servant could possess. Their relationship rests on a dark agreement with a price still to be paid. Whether managing the estate or entering London's criminal underworld, Sebastian carries out his master's orders with unnerving precision. Gothic mysteries, dangerous investigations and sharp comedy surround a partnership in which impeccable service offers little reassurance about the intentions behind it.
