Synopsis
Yuji Sano is so accustomed to overwork that even a mysterious summons on his computer seems like another interruption. After accepting it by accident, he finds himself in a fantasy world with a Monster Tamer's abilities and a stubborn expectation that he will eventually wake up and return to the office. The slimes he befriends soon make that explanation difficult to believe. Through his new companions, Yuji absorbs a remarkable amount of magical knowledge and acquires the powers of a sage as well. What follows is an adventure built around an unusual partnership: one bewildered former employee and an increasingly resourceful group of small monsters. His quiet manner conceals abilities that draw him into dangers far beyond ordinary adventuring work.
