Rokurei: The Anti-Exorcism Division

An increase in ghostly disturbances has created an unusual branch of local government: the Anti-Exorcism Division of the Sixth Sense Department. Its staff handle disputes involving the living and the dead, trying to understand what is wrong before anyone reaches for a ritual to drive a spirit away. Their cases treat haunting as a problem that may require listening, investigation and negotiation. Office work and encounters with the unknown share the same uneasy space, giving this supernatural buddy-cop story a mixture of humor and mystery. Jinushi, the creator of Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You, brings everyday friction to a profession that is anything but ordinary.
