Tanaka-kun is Always Listless

Tanaka approaches school with a clear ambition: to exert as little effort as possible. He is always ready for a nap and rarely eager to join whatever activity the day brings. Fortunately, his dependable friend Ohta is willing to lend a hand, sometimes doing considerably more than that to keep him moving. Their classmates introduce new complications into a routine Tanaka would prefer to keep uneventful. Rather than chasing dramatic victories, this school comedy finds its rhythm in tiny inconveniences, contrasting personalities and the quiet affection of friendship. Staying perfectly idle turns out to require a surprisingly active supporting cast.
