Dragon Quest: The Mark of Erdrick
Dragon Quest Retsuden: Roto no Monshou
Synopsis
The hero Erdrick's victory has become a legend, and the peace that followed has lasted for generations. Now darkness is gathering again, leaving those who inherited that world to face a threat the old stories cannot defeat for them. Prince Arus, a descendant of the celebrated hero, sets out with his companions to confront it. Their journey carries them beyond the security of familiar places and into the responsibilities attached to a famous name. Friendship, training and encounters with formidable enemies shape an epic fantasy adventure rooted in the world of Dragon Quest. Arus must discover what it means to become a hero in his own time, with allies whose courage matters as much as his ancestry.
