Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor

Sho Fukamachi is an ordinary student until an encounter with a mysterious device changes his body and his life. The object bonds with him to form the Guyver, a powerful suit of living armour. What first appears to be an impossible accident makes him a target for an organisation determined to recover its lost technology. Chronos sends its transformed fighters after the armour, placing Sho's friends in danger as well. With Tetsuro drawn into the secret, Sho must learn what his new body can do while confronting opponents whose human appearances conceal something very different. Every fight raises further questions about the equipment and those who created it. Yoshiki Takaya combines superhero action with biological science fiction and unsettling transformations. The armour's organic design and the expanding conflict give the series its identity, while Sho's struggle to protect his own life keeps the enormous powers personal.
