Rust-Eater Bisco

Across a ruined Japan, a destructive wind leaves both people and their surroundings consumed by rust. Mushrooms are blamed for the catastrophe, making Bisco Akaboshi, an archer who spreads them wherever his arrows strike, a wanted man. Yet his work as a Mushroom Keeper is meant to restore the land, and his journey has a personal purpose: finding a remedy for his ailing mentor. His search brings him together with Milo, a young doctor trying to save someone precious to him. Their shared need sends them after the legendary Rust-Eater mushroom through a world of dangerous creatures, suspicion and powerful enemies. This first manga adaptation follows the unlikely partnership at the heart of an energetic post-apocalyptic adventure.
