Ena Takahashi has an image to maintain as both a high school student and an idol. Her secret pastime is considerably less polished: listening in on the conversations between class representative Nara and the quiet Mikage. Their peculiar exchanges are irresistible, but letting either boy notice her amusement would expose what she has been doing. Each short episode turns an ordinary school moment into a private struggle to keep a straight face. Ena's public composure and increasingly distracted inner reactions do most of the comic work. The pleasure lies in how little needs to happen before a seemingly harmless conversation becomes impossible for her to ignore.
