Captain Harlock

Earth has grown complacent, and those who question its comfortable order are easily dismissed. Captain Harlock has chosen exile aboard the pirate ship Arcadia, gathering a crew that values freedom over obedience. When an alien threat approaches, the outlaw and the society that rejected him are drawn into the same conflict. Young Tadashi Daiba joins Harlock's journey and discovers the loyalties behind his fearsome reputation. Leiji Matsumoto's original space adventure combines mysterious enemies and sweeping battles with a melancholy interest in friendship, conviction and lives spent beyond the accepted boundaries.
